Who should pay for the End of Tenancy Clean?
Outgoing tenants are required to leave the property in the same condition it was found, less fair wear and tear.
Hence, if the property was professionally cleaned for your arrival, then it needs to be cleaned to professional standards upon departure. Although there can be no requirement placed on the tenant to pay for a professional, it is practically impossible to leave a property in professional standards without the correct equipment and experience.
Hence, if tenants want to retrieve their deposit, we encourage them all to pay for a professional End of Tenancy cleaner.

Absolutely! When booking an End of Tenancy Clean, our cleaners will come prepared with all the equipment and supplies they need for the booking. Note, if you require Carpet, Upholstery or Curtain Steam Cleaning, then this needs to be booked in beforehand and parking might need to be arranged.
The number of cleaners on each End of Tenancy booking varies according to the size of the job and our schedule on the particular day. Generally, we send a team large enough to complete the booking in half a day. So, for example, if a booking is to start at 9am then the estimated completion time is 1-1.30pm. However, it’s always best to allocate an extra couple of hours to the booking just incase of any unexpected complications. If you have a key handover or inventory check-out on the same day, let us know beforehand and we will organise ourselves to ensure the booking is completed beforehand.

For our End of Tenancy Cleans, we usually take a £60 deposit to secure the booking, with the outstanding balance due upon completion of the clean. We’ll issue an invoice upon completion of the booking and a receipt once payment has been made. This way you’ll have physical evidence to show your landlord that you’ve had your property professionally cleaned.
No, all the cleaners need is access to the property at the agreed time and instructions on how to lock up the property when leaving. That being said, if possible, we prefer customers to be there at the end of the clean just to ensure they are totally happy with the service provided. We find it saves both parties time in the future when on the exceptionally rare occasion something is missed and the team need to return.
As long as the estate agents are in the vicinity of the property, then we are happy to pick the keys up for an additional £10 fee.
We appreciate the moving house is a balancing act of many parts, and if one thing falls through you might need to cancel or re-schedule the clean. As a result, we remain as flexible as possible.
