On the off chance that there’s damage made to the property, there is no need to worry. All of our cleaners are fully insured with Public Liability insurance, up to £1,000,000.

At Scrubs, we pride ourselves on adjusting around our clients’ busy lives. Therefore, as long as you provide us with 48hrs notice, we will happily re-schedule free of charge – just give us a call!

No! Scrubs cleaners come fully prepared with all detergents, products and equipment needed for a 5* professional clean.

  • Allow access into property at stated time.
  • Ensure all dishes, cutlery and utensils have been cleaned and removed.
  • Ensure each room is well lit.
  • Ensure the washing machine & dryer are empty.
  • Ensure the dishwasher is empty and ready-to-use.
  • Ensure the electricity & hot water is in operation.
  • Clear all cupboards to be cleaned.
  • Clear all shelves to be cleaned.
  • Clear all draws to be cleaned.
  • Clear all desks/ tables to be cleaned (TV & Monitors OK to be left).
  • Clear floorspace (except furniture to be left).

Generally, we like to have the full day to complete the clean, just incase of any unforeseen circumstances,stances that might arise. However, we appreciate that sometimes our customers are running on tight schedule. if this is the case, just let us know and we’ll schedule a clean and team size that works for you.

Absolutely! We offer a 7-day guarantee so that if, on the rare occasion, a customer is unhappy with the clean then we’ll send a team back. That being said, we can’t guarantee to successfully remove every mark, scuff and dent.

That shouldn’t be a problem. Just provide us with both address’s and, as long as they’re not far from one another, we’ll pick the keys up and drop them off for a only a £10 fee.

Payments can be made over the phone or by Cash, Bank Transfer and Payment Link (Card).. 

For most bookings, we take a £60 deposit upon booking the clean. The outstanding balance is then due upon completion of the booking. We’ll also issue an invoice after each clean for your records.

All of our internal cleaners are extensively vetted and assessed with our onboarding and trial process to ensure we maintain our 5* quality. We also work with a small handful of cleaning providers that allow us to serve a wider geography. Again, they undergo an extensive onboarding process so that we can place 100% trust in them. If a client doesn’t show up to a booking. We’ll wait 30 minutes. If we don’t hear from the customer the team will be instructed to leave to their following booking. Please note, we’ll need to keep the deposit if this occurs.

Terms & Conditions

Definitions

“Booking” means a booking for Services made by You through Us

“Services” means cleaning services or other home services;

“Cleaner” means a cleaning or other home services provider available through Us

“We/us” means Scrubs Cleaning UK Limited, of 30 Delaware Rd, London, N1 0LX with Company Registration Number

“You” means a user of our cleaning agency

Scrubs Services

2.1 We act as a booking agency for independent and/or self-employed Cleaners. Our contract with you is limited to provision of use of our agency services.

2.2 Your Cleaner is responsible for providing the Services to you and you have a direct contract between you and the Cleaner concerning the provision of Services. This contract does not include us. You and Cleaners are responsible for any taxes arising as a result of the Services.

2.3 We review applications, conduct interviews and complete a performance review after a two-week trial period, with some of this process reliant on information from or undertaken by third parties. You acknowledge that we do not and cannot guarantee the accurateness or completeness of such checks, whether conducted by us or by third parties.

2.4 You acknowledge that you use Cleaners at your own risk. You agree to provide a safe working environment for Cleaners and to take appropriate precautions to supervise Cleaners.

Booking

3.1 By placing an order through us, you warrant that you are: legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and at least 18 years old.

3.2 All Bookings are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you a confirmation email on behalf of the selected Cleaner to confirm the Booking. The contracts between us and you and between you and the Housekeeper will only be formed when we send you the confirmation e-mail.

3.3 You agree that you will not seek to book any Services from any Scrubs registered Cleaner other than via us for the 3 months after termination of this agreement.

Materials & Equipment

4.1 All cleaning materials, supplies and equipment will be provided by the Cleaner.

Cancellations by You

6.1. The client agrees to pay the deposit, if: a) The client cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment; b) The client fails to provide access to the service premises thus preventing the Cleaner to carry out the booked work; c) There is a problem with the client’s keys and the Cleaner cannot let themselves into the property. If keys are provided they must open all locks without any special efforts or skills.

6.2. If the Client needs to change a cleaning day or time we will do our best to accommodate them. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required. Please note that we cannot guarantee that the same operative will be available on the new day and at the time the client requires. Any changes in the cleaning schedule are subject to availability.

Price and Payment

6.1 The price of any Services will be as quoted by Us after conducting a virtual viewing of the property to be cleaned, except in cases where this is not possible and an alternative agreement is made.

6.2 Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a confirmation email.

6.3 If upon arrival of the property the cleaner deems the property to be in either particularly poor condition, or condition that is materially different condition of that of the virtual viewing, we reserve the right to refuse the job or renegotiate the price.

6.4 Every effort has been made to ensure that making a booking is secure. We cannot be responsible for fraudulent use on our website of a lost payment card.

6.5 Our commission is taken via payment link upon making the booking. The outstanding balance is due directly to the cleaning provider upon completion of the booking, either via cash or bank transfer.

6.6 If any amount due by you is unpaid after the day of the scheduled Booking, we may charge a £10 administration fee and interest each month.

6.7 Scrubs may at its sole discretion offer its own discounts and promotional offers to potential and existing customers to promote our business as an agent.  These offers will not reduce the consideration received by the cleaner and may therefore entail us to subsidise the consideration due to the cleaner in some circumstances.  The customer acknowledges that any consideration paid by the customer as part of a Scrubs promotional offer up to the amount of consideration that would otherwise be due to the cleaner at the agreed standard rates is wholly consideration due to the cleaner.

Cancellations by Us

7.1 If you violate any of the Terms, your permission to use the Services will automatically terminate.

7.2 We reserve the right to cancel any Booking without notice or cause.

Insurance

8.1 We have a £1m public liability insurance policy underwritten by a leading insurer. There are excesses of at least £500, depending on the specific type of claim, which will be at your cost.

8.2 This policy is only able to cover extreme circumstances, for example, serious injury to the Cleaner or severe damage to property such as fire.

Agreement of Terms

10.1 In making payment or acknowledging confirmation, the customer accepts the terms & conditions outlined in this document.
